Infantry Logistics - Food, water and equipment

Infantry Logistics - Food, water and equipment
Infantry equipment, logistics and food is predominately limited by weight. While price is certainly an object, for infantry the predominant issue is weight ,as infantry can only handle as much equipment as they can reasonably carry. Unlike a piece of equipment, say a vehicle, people not only don't have the ability to carry nearly as much equipment,  but also get fatigued, requiring more than just a recharge or refueling to keep going. A mechanized robot with features similar to a human, such as a mech or an android, would ultimately revolutionize this area of combat which is the largest chunk of the military in general. When the Finnish were able to use skis to travel quadruple the distances and with twice the weight of their enemies, they were able to, despite being significantly smaller in size, absolutely decimate the Russian and German invasion. The ability to transport and store food, water and other basic equipment in combat is perhaps the biggest factor to determining success along side combat skills and good strategies. As there is an inherent limitation to infantry capabilities given the human element, if this could suddenly change, there would be an enormous revolution in warfare. Unfortunately, such designs are not available for mass production and have their own logistical hurdles, chiefly maneuverability and energy consumption if powered armor suits are considered.
